NINJA CREAMI PROTEIN ICE CREAM

It’s the coldest week in a year but you we don't have a recipe for protein powder soup! You know you love ice cream anyway, so check this out!

Here's a simple and delicious recipe for protein ice cream using almond milk and whey protein, specifically designed for your Ninja Creami:

Protein Ice Cream with Almond Milk & Whey Protein (Ninja Creami Recipe)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 scoops (60g) of Dive Bar Nutrition BETTER WHEY protein (flavor of your choice, vanilla or chocolate works great)
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (for creaminess)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional, for added flavor)
  • 1-2 tbsp sweetener (e.g., stevia, monk fruit, or honey – optional, adjust to taste)
  • Pinch of salt (optional, enhances flavor)

Instructions:

  1. Blend the Ingredients:
    • In a blender, combine the almond milk, whey protein, Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, sweetener (if using), and a pinch of salt.
    • Blend until smooth and well-mixed. The mixture should have a creamy consistency.
  2. Chill the Mixture:
    • Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container, cover, and place it in the freezer for about 4-6 hours, or until it becomes firm. This step is important for getting the perfect ice cream texture in your Ninja Creami.
  3. Use Your Ninja Creami:
    • Once the mixture is fully frozen, take the container out of the freezer.
    • Place the frozen block into the Ninja Creami pint.
    • Insert the pint into the Ninja Creami machine and select the "Ice Cream" function. The machine will blend the frozen block into a creamy, smooth ice cream texture.
  4. Customize & Serve:
    • After the first blend, check the consistency. If you prefer a softer texture, you can re-spin it by selecting the "Re-spin" function.
    • Once you're happy with the texture, serve it immediately or store it in the freezer for later.

Optional Add-ins:

  • Chocolate chips, crushed nuts, or finely cubed Dive Bars: You can add these in after the ice cream is done, just before serving. (Just remember these are not part of the macro/caloric breakdown when the recipe was written!)
  • Cocoa powder: If you like chocolate protein ice cream, you can add 1-2 tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder to the mix before blending.

Enjoy your high-protein, creamy ice cream! This recipe is a great way to enjoy a dessert that’s both delicious and packed with protein.
